Products

The product we offer is audio mastering services, that is, we work on your finished mixes (stereo audio files) in order to create a master to be used for CD replication, online distribution, vinyl cutting, or other purposes. We do not offer producing, recording or mixing services when ordering from our website.

In order to fulfill the order, we need the mixes (audio files), metadata (track order, titles, ISRC, EAN, etc) and additional info (comments, requests regarding sound, edits, fades etc) from you.

We deliver files containing the finished masters in various formats, depending on what you have ordered. The order is considered fulfilled when the first set of the ordered master files are sent to the customer.

You can request revisions after you have checked the master files from us. Within reason, revisions are free of charge. If you provide new mixes, new metadata, or new additional info, or make an unreasonable amount of revision requests, there might be extra charges for delivering the revised masters.

Mastering at flat rates

The following conditions apply for the flat rates presented on our website.

  • Average track length should be 6 minutes or less for the flat price per track to apply.
  • Maximum album length is 75 minutes for the flat album price to apply, with no limit on track lengths.
  • Files for online distribution are included in the price.
  • Revisions are free, within reason.

  • The additional master version for vinyl cutting, if ordered, is a version with less or no peak limiting, delivered as wave files,24 bits, in the same sampling frequency as the mixes, with one continous file per side plus a timing sheet. Other formats are available upon request.

For any other condition, other rates might apply.

We reserve the right to change the rates presented on our website at any time at our discretion. It is the responsibility of the customer to review the current rates when placing the order.

Orders and turnaround times

Orders are placed by you (the customer) using the ordering system on our website. The steps you need to take to place an order are described at the relevant product page and checkout page on our website.

The turnaround time is the expected time from when we have received an order and all associated material, metadata and information, to when the order is fulfilled.

The current turnaround time is presented on our website when ordering, and is based on our current work load and ability to accept new orders. The turnaround time presented on our website can be changed at any time at our discretion.

The turnaround time is presented as a number of working days. A working day is a week day (Monday to Friday), not including any Swedish national holidays.

When ordering, the customer can select a preferred turnaround time, and this might also affect the price of the selected services. The selected turnaround time is added to the order, and is stated in the order confirmation email that is automatically sent to the customer.

When you have placed an order, you will receive an automatic order confirmation email. This confirmation email contains important information about the necessary additional steps you need to take for us to be able to fulfill your order. This includes uploading all relevant material, and providing us with all relevant metadata and any additional info.

When we have received the order, full payment, all material, and all relevant information, the order is ready to be processed. The expected delivery date is then calculated from this date plus the ordered turnaround time.

The turnaround time stated in the order is guaranteed under the condition that you deliver all mixes and info within maximum two weeks from the order date. After that, the turnaround time will be whatever the current turnaround time is on the date that we have received the mixes and info, unless you have made another agreement with us regarding this.

The order is considered fulfilled on time if the first set of the ordered master files are delivered before midnight (CET) on the expected delivery date.

Any revisions the customer might request after the first set of the ordered master files have been delivered are not required to be taken care of within the turnaround time, although we will do our best to deliver new revised master files as promptly as possible.

If we for any reason are not able to fulfill the order within the turnaround time specified in the order, we will notify the customer as soon as possible to work out a solution. Possible solutions might be a cancellation of the order with a full refund, or a partial refund. No refunds are made if the delay is due to events outside of our control, including but not limited to illness, inability to work, errors in the files and information supplied by the customer, or additional requests made by the customer during or after placing the order.

Payment

All orders are fully payed in advance, unless there is another written agreement between us and the customer.

When placing the order you will select your preferred payment method. Currently these are PayPal or direct bank transfer (IBAN for international customers and Bankgiro for Swedish customers). The order needs to be payed in full before we begin fulfilling the order.

Cancellation of orders

All orders are final and can not be cancelled, with the exception of the situations stated below:

We reserve the right to cancel any order at any time. The reasons for a cancellation from our side do not need to be stated, but might be due to illness, inability to work, the quality or musical or lyrical content of the provided material, booking errors, faults in the ordering system, errors in the turnaround times stated on our website, the customer breaking the terms and conditions, or any other reason. Any payments made to an order cancelled by us will be fully refunded, unless the reason for cancelling is due to the customer breaking the terms and conditions, in which case the order will be fully or partially refunded at our discretion.

It is important to review the order and correct any errors before placing the order. If the customer have placed an order in error and wish to cancel the order, a request should be sent to us by replying to the order confirmation email as soon as possible. If we agree to cancel the order, we will refund the order fully or partially at our discretion, depending on how much work we have already done to fulfill the order. Any transaction fees will be deducted from the refund.

Refunds

No refunds will be made on any orders, with the exception of the situations stated in the sections “Cancellation of orders” and “Orders and turnaround times”.
