Sofia von Hage

Sofia is a qualified sound engineer and got her formal education from the Department of Music and Media, at the University of Technology in Piteå (2004-2006). In 2006 she started working at Swedish mastering company Cutting Room AB and stayed there until early 2009. During the spring of 2009 Sofia founded Stockholm Mastering together with Thomas Eberger.  Sofia has also been studying at The Royal School of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, specializing in sound technology.

Thomas Eberger

Thomas has been working with mastering since the year of 2000. He got his formal education from the Department of Music and Media, at the University of Technology in Piteå (1998-2000). He then started working at Cutting Room as a mastering engineer and also became in charge of the technical development there.

Thomas mastered a large number of records during his years at Cutting Room and gained a very good reputation in the mastering business. In 2009 he started Stockholm Mastering together with Sofia von Hage.

Thomas and Sofia recently returned to the school in Piteå to hold a course in mastering for the third-year students there.
